Friends of ISS

Non-governmental organisations need donations to facilitate their work. Many of our correspondents in Africa, South America and Asia as well as in Eastern Europe have only the minimum level of means they need for their work. Many of those staff members depend on payment of their work just to make their livelihood. Travelling to another town to prepare a social report which is urgently needed, or forwarding it to Germany, may be unnecessarily delayed because of lack of money.

This is why friends of ISS have founded a sponsoring association (“Förderverein”) to support the work of ISS. The Friends of ISS are a registered non-profit association. Donations to the sponsoring association are tax-deductible.
